Photonic Controls announces partnership with Infotonics Technology Center February 24, 2004 - Photonic Controls, LLC has entered a partnership agreement with Infotonics Technology Center to seek business opportunities together as an Affiliated Development Partner. Infotonics Technology Center is a collaborative, industry-led Center of Excellence in Photonics and Microsystems. Infotonics is led by its industry partners, which include Corning, Kodak and Xerox. They offer unique fabrication and packaging capabilities in their premier microsystems R&D facility located in Canandaigua, NY. "Photonic Controls has extensive experience in designing and integrating photonic and electronic devices into high-performance systems," noted Les Fritzmeier, Infotonics' Director of Business Development and Government Programs. "We've agreed to help broaden their business base by doing some upstream device design and fabrication work. And, if we have a customer who wants a photonic device integrated with electronics, we can count on Photonic Controls."
